It is supporting each other when we need it most that brings the best out of people. Communities, like big families, are made stronger by the bonds that the people making up the community make with each other. And helping those with an outstretched hand (those that need our support the most) is our shared passion at The Rock Found.
The Rock Found is part of a network of community reentry programs. We help connect like-minded programs that offer a variety of community reentry services for individuals recently released from incarceration. It is only with the help of community reentry services that the alarming recidivism rate can be lowered.
The Community Reentry Services That We Help To Provide
Helping people (prisoners, felons, convicts, offenders, or any of the other degrading titles that individuals of our program are usually labeled with) improve their life takes more than just a will to change. Though the will to change is a positive step that encourages our beliefs in restorative justice, it isn’t enough.
Many individuals, no matter where they are in life, are broken, hurt, and lack certain skills. These are precisely the sort of problems we tackle at The Rock Found. Our program provides various community reentry services from many of the leading reentry programs in Colorado. Members of our program are able to receive some of the following supportive services:
- Introduction to Greeley Ministry & Faith-Based Teachings
- Help Finding & Securing Housing
- Ways to Develop Lifelong Social Skills
- Peer Mentorship Program
- Assistance in Finding Jobs
- Lasting Work Skills in Various Industries
- Moral Reconation Therapy
- Support Groups
- Individual & Family Therapy Sessions
Our whole philosophy rests on the idea that no one should ever be left behind. Using our spiritual principles as the bedrock foundation for which we have grown, we use faith-based teachings to properly encourage our members to build their own self-worth and self-confidence.
